a little rusty , some highlights are blown out ,wasn't looking at the histogram in firecapture ...

6 panels of rgb at 25% of 600 frames per filter , over 200 gb of data ! it took me hours to transfer it on my slow usb hd ..

12'' sct at 3000mm fl ,asi1600 chugging at 8 fps ..
moon re.jpg
a side note ,microsofts ice 2.0 dosn't do moon mosaics correctly .. you'll have to go back to 1.4

also i found this program from a user over at cn called MoonPanoramaMaker ,theres a github download available if anyone wants to give it a try.
some of the users over at cn and other places are doing 90 panel moon mosaics with this and aswell with solar imaging!!

i gave it a go and it works well but it conflicts my mount and forces it to use normal sidereal rate instead of luna ...

Great stuff Rob, made me wonder what version of ICE I’m using... love the processing you’ve got there.
Cheers,

Tony.

Very nice mosaic Rob. Good contrast and colour.

My copy of ICE 2.0.3.0 managed a 9 panel lunar image but it struggled to combine them all at once. I had to add them 1 at a time to build up the final image!

Regards

Graeme
