I finally was able to catch the Lunar X and V last night. It was still light out and the seeing wasn’t so hot, so the color, contrast and sharpness were all compromised, but at least I finally got to see it. It looked great through the eyepiece. Here’s a link to a closeup HD video I shot of it also. Thanks for looking.

I also caught the Lunar X and V last evening. Really popped in twilight!! Thanks for sharing the images.

Nice one Dyno. The X and V were ideal from Europe this month. I put a notification in the Forum Portal Calendar and I've been looking forward to it but we were clouded out here yesterday.

The X really stands out in your image.

That’s unfortunate about the clouds. It would have been great since it was dark too. Maybe I will get another chance to shoot it again under better conditions.

That is so cool! Congratulations, Dana. Personally, I never managed to track down the lunar X or the lunar V. But I found many lunar O's.
