Hi all,

Decided as the dominant moon was sitting over Orion’s head I would make a composite lunar image Altair Starwave 80ed, ZWO ASI 533 Pro, 14 640 by 480 videos 300 frame. PIPP, AS3!, Registax, PSCC & Affinity. Captured in SC Pro 3.2. Deliberately underexposed in Affinity as. I liked the look.

Hi Tony. A very nice mosaic of the waxing gibbous moon and no signs of stitching with ICE. Nice contrast, the mare regions are well defined, and the ejecta rays show up well too. Thanks for sharing the view with us Tony, and congratulations on winning the TSS APOD Award today.

Thanks Marshall, the moon is a fascinating subject, it shows us so many faces over the month. Of course always the brightest fullest one on the clearest nights :lol:
