Lunar closeups 24 Nov.

#1

Post by MrShorty »

It has been a while since I have had a good lunar session. Tonight, the atmosphere was more stable than usual, so I had a look at our nearest neighbor. Seeing was good enough that I even broke out the Barlow for extra magnification. I spent some time trying to convince myself that I could see the central rille running down Vallis Alpes. I had enough magnification I feel like I should have been able to see it, but I just could not make it out.
