Lunar Art

Hey All,

Here is the Moon that I did with my C11 on Nov 7th and was bored and decided to have a little fun tonight while my Darks were being taken. So I looked through my files and saw a starfield that I took in the summer with my DSLR. Anyway, I know some may look down on it because it is not real but oh well... It is Lunar Art.

Captured with 10,000 frames and I took the best 10% of them with my ZWO 290mm. It was captured with FireCapture, then stacked with Autostakert, then brought into REGstax for Wavelets, then to Photoshop.

iOptron CEM 70
ZWO IR Cut filter
Rigel nStep

The stars were done with my T6 I think the lens was at 150mm

Did you tilt the lunar surface image a bit to add to the perspective? I've tinkered with that a bit on solar images and found it "easy" to do, but difficult to get "just right". Yours is perfect.

To get that perspective I rotated the camera around the moon's edge until it looked right. I tried to stay away from the bright side and went for a side that showed the most depth but not too dark and not too bright.
