Had an unanticipated clear sky last night. The moon drew my attention so I had a go at a dark crater.
2.5k files PIPP to 1000 best, then 12% in AS!3. PS for stretching & sharpening. No Barlow, 2” extension, ASI 224MC.

22:30, windy and chilly.

Hi Tony. A beautiful lunar image of the Mare Imbrium region. Crater Plato, the Alpine Valley, and even tiny Mt. Pico shows up nicely. Thanks for sharing this capture with us on here Tony, and congratulations on winning the TSS APOD Award today.
