just a simple quick photo not even using a tripod.

OMG thank you a lot wow I had no idea! I'm late to the party!

It was actually a tad bit cloudy but just clear enough right where the moon was.
just grabbed a quick handheld photo. used some color-noise-reduction. and very subtly reduced the noise very slightly and sharpened the details in gimp with a slight curve adjustment for more contrasty large-scale details

I actually used autofocus for this pic! took a pic and autofocus again a few times and picked out the sharpest pic. was actually the first pic!

here is a more cropped in picture with less border.
