moon close up with the new 2x televue

it's been some months since i've used the 12'' sct ,since the planets are comming in closer i thaught i should do some tuning and get prepared . everything running well but the mount stops tracking when it hits the meridian .. i also have auto guide working in firecapture but it nudges the planet around like it's playing pong :Lol:

with the spacing i have, firecapture reports 8850mm fl 0.07 '' resolution


currently using the Astronomik IR 642 BP , works realy well on moon ,it cuts down the turbulence a fair bit .

it's hard to graps the size of the moon when up close, some of these craters are like 200 km wide and one of them is 2500 km wide (aitken basin ), they look little sand holes dug by a sand bubbler crab
