M53 - adding one more glob to mix
Looks like everyone was out imaging Globs recently. Here's my take attempt at M53. 60 X 60s. Processed with Startools . I'm thinking of collecting 2 minute subs to see if I can collect a bit more detail without blowing out the core. Of course, May gray/June gloom is setting in here in Southern California so I need the fog gods to cooperate.

Re: M53 - adding one more glob to mix
Nice image. Seems like I always stumble upon M53 when I'm observing galaxies in the area. It's distinctive as it sits on the middle of an isosceles triangle of stars. Also, nearby is the faint (magitude 9.6) globular NGC 5053, sometimes I can see it, sometimes I can't.
