There is a fair amount of background nebulosity, i need more dynamic range and longer exposures to capture it.
I would guess it's the pixel scale plus sharpening , scope is a 12'' f4 with a 1200mm focal length, pixel scale is 0.64'' a bit over sampled but can give a bit of an edge on those smaller/further away objects with calmer skies around. this target would pay off with a f10 scope, as it is really bright and shouldn't take too much time to get some signal with a slower scope.Larry 1969 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 02, 2020 4:48 am You must have some serious focal length to get that!
