Unintentionally better M97 & M108 than I thought would come out

#1

Post by keyroute »

From February 26. I wasn't expecting sensational results, but this combo of M97 (Owl Nebula) and M108 (Surfboard Galaxy) came out way better than I thought it would.

ISO 800 at 30s. 20 lights and 10 darks.

Hello Keyroute. A nice pair of galaxies here. You have fine contrast and lots of sparkly stars in the field. This is great work for just 10 minutes. Thanks for putting this up on here Keyroute, and keep up the great work.

Nice detail, particularly from the Owl. They are a couple of tough targets at short fl, and you have done well with them.
