M101 HaLRGB

#1

Post by KathyNS »

This is the same LRGB data I posted a few days ago, but with new Ha data added. Plus, I took this same target last year. I don't normally come back to target that soon, but, as I explained in my last post, this one was targeted accidentally. I'm just making the most of it. So, I added last year's data to this year's.

Very nice Kathy. The red "knots" show up nicely in the spiral arms, and, your long time on target has captured much of the faint nebulosity. Very pretty image.

PS: I think your total exposure is up to 8 hr 38 min - nice.

Sorry, an error in reporting. I have corrected it. The correct number is still 5h26m.
