The Horsehead (B33) and Flame (February 2020 update)
My prime target last night was waiting for me around 8pm with a twinkle in it's eye. The stallion tried to dart away behind the house, but, not before yielding an additional 50 minutes of data (10 x 300s). I combined it with the best of the data I've collected over the years. I tried to improve the focus and tightness of the stars and Flame nebula in particular.

Beautiful, John.
I'm using your image as a benchmark for my own Stakker-Lite experiments. If I can get in the same ballpark as the image you posted of the Stallion-Knight takes Rook, I'll be a super happy camper. But I'm going to need some super-duper skies to even get to first base.
Sorry about mixing metaphors/imagery, but apropos in this case!

Re: The Horsehead (B33) and Flame (February 2020 update)
Thanks Steve!
When I compose the HTML post, I first upload the image in two places, (1) a gallery on this forum and (2) Flickr. I then "share" the photo via Flickr selecting an image height that would usually look decent in a frame on a laptop or desktop (usually less than 800 pixels). Flickr adjusts the url based on your customization for the "shared" profile dimensions. In the post HTML, I add the Flickr url and the image url from the Forum gallery.
I include both since some people view the forum behind a firewall that prohibits viewing images through a shared service such as Flickr.

Re: The Horsehead (B33) and Flame (February 2020 update)
Thanks for the PM explaining it John. I'll be using this new approach from now on.STEVE333 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 12:01 amThanks John - Now I have to figure out what you said!JohnP_1 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 10:50 pm Thanks Steve!

Would you mind explaining to me how you insert your image from Flickr into a post so that when anyone clicks on the image they are taken to the image in Flickr?
Cheers,
Steve
