M27 (Dumbbell Nebula) from light polluted Nothern California

#1

Post by keyroute »

M27 from July 2019, cajoled, coaxed, and yanked out from the light polluted skies of the San Francisco East Bay. This was taken with an Orion ST80, before I upgraded to a Skywatcher 80ED. 30-second exposures at ISO 800; 60x lights and 10x darks. This was the first "difficult" DSO I imaged, as it was just visible when I viewed it visually through my Orion XT10i.
