Cone Nebula widefield HaO3-LRGB

#1

Post by MartinF »

Yesterday I collected some LRGB for one of the panels of a Rosette to Cone mosaic I´ve finished lately. Today I´ve been working at editing the LRGB and then combining with my Ha and O3.

Turned out really well I think!

Samyang 135mm lens at f/4
Zwo ASI1600MM-Cool
Zwo LRGB filters, Astrodon 3nm narrowband filters.
27*5min Ha
29*5 min O3
15-18*1min each for R, G and B
38*1 min Lum

Hope you like it!

That's a beauty Martin. Wonderful low-level nebulosity along with the details and vibrant colors.

Looking forward to the mosaic.

I just ran into an old post of yours (on another forum) explaining how to determine what F/# optics will work with 1.25" filters. It was nice and clear, and, when saw it had been provided by you it wasn't a big surprise. Thanks for that information too.

Thank you Steve!
However, I don´t think that information about optics and filters was from me. Sounds like something above my competence level
