IC410 Tadpole nebula version nr2

#1

Post by Micke187 »

Well i thought i would do some improvements on my tadpole nebula image so after some hours in photoshop i manage to make it a little better.
I manage to pull out some more details out of the background nebulosity and this time i manage(finally i know now how i do it) to get the blue to stand out alot more then before.
So here is the result. Hope you like it!

i find that stretching the channels before combining them helos to bring out the blue, especially if you mask the background on the OIII channel and just enhance the nebulosity and THEN combine

I always stretch before combining but with the o3 channel i always struggle to get that nebulosity to stand out more . And then how much of the blending of each channel is needed. But i will definitley try the background masking. Will have to learn that how to do that in PS first. :techie-studyingbrown:
