Soul Nebula 13 hr bicolour with new scope

#1

Post by MartinF »

Well, the title was not all true. Only part of the O3 was with the new (used) scope, the rest of the data was captured through my Sigma 500mm tele lens :telescopewink:

I think I need to fiddle a bit with the spacing but it looks OK (not perfect). The stars from the Sigma are not perfect in the corners either.
This is 45*5 minutes of Ha and 111*5 minutes of O3.

ZWO ASI 1600MM-Cool with Astrodon 3nm filters.
Sigma 500/4,5 EX DG HSM lens
TS Optics Photoline 80mm f/6 triplet

Hope you like it!

This is a beautiful image Martin. I especially appreciate how nicely you brought out the blue on the interior. I'm very envious of your dark skies and your processing abilities.

I like it! I also like the fact you captured a good part of it with a 500mm tele!

Lady Fraktor, in your new icon photo, is that Super Bike protective gear or Motocross?

That is a 2 piece Sport Bike suit with lots of body armor underneath for when I am riding on twisty mountain roads.
I have 2 different 1 piece suits (Alpinestars and Dainese) for track days. Safety First! :)
