This cluster of distant galaxies, appx 550 mly, is actually mostly in Pisces, just over the Pegasus border. The main actors are, from right to left, NGC 7499, 7501, 7503, all 15th magnitude objects. Numerous smaller and dimmer galaxies abound, some face-on and others on edge. The full extent of the outliers is greater than the image posted. Imaged in average seeing and suspect sky transparency, seemed to be a very thin cirrus layer.

Imaged with Meade 16 LX200 at f6.2, Atik 460ex mono 9/5min Lum, 2/5min RGB all 2x2 binned for 2500mm efl at 0.7"/pixel. OAG w/QHY5L-II at 4 second rate. Captured and stacked in Nebulosity, post in PS CS5 with Carboni tools. Image full size, but cropped 20%.

Clear skies,
Steve
