tadpole nebula (IC410) bicolor

#1

Post by Micke187 »

So in the weekend i was able to get some o3 to make a bicolor on the tadpole nebula.
And this is what i come up with.
I have a little issue with oval stars in one corner becaouse of the tilt i got.
DIdnt came out as good as i was hoping for but it came out alrigt. still issues to bring out the blue from the 03 channel.
But anyway here is the result i came up with.

50x300seconds HA
70x3000seconds O3
cooling -15

Excellent image!

I really like the color and the details are very crisp and sharp. Fine work!

Such nice detail, especially along the dust lanes! And maybe it's my eyes, but I can't see any oval stars at all.... I just see a lot of them! :D

Great work and all the best,
Mark

Thank you all glad you liked it! :)
Well if you look closely down in the right corner you will see that the stars are abit oblong so.
And tonight i have a clear night and i will try and gather some s2 for the tadpole so i can make a hubble pallette of this object.
Hopefully i can get somwhere around 70-80 subs if the clouds stay away.
so wish me luck ! :)

Wonderful image, and I wouldn't worry about the oblong stars, you can hardly notice them. I also find that pulling out the blue from the Oiii tends to be difficult. But it also depends on the object. The Veil in bi-color is easy.
