I wish I could of done more Ha to bring the rest out, but had to send my camera to China for a winter vacation right after that. I am just hoping to get it back before the Orion belt and other winter nebulas are still in my backyard view. I guess God does not want me to image these past two weeks and rest of the month+. No Camera, My Back Deck was falling down and had to tear it down last week. (my main observing area) and cataract eye surgery on both eyes starting this week with each eye about 10 days apart and can't lift anything heavy for a month lol. Oh well. But my plan is to scrounge up enough dough to get either a DSLR or used ZWO OSC then resell it after mine comes back and somehow try to store my AVX mount outside safely without carrying it. I just don't want to miss the winter nebulas, I get pissed every time I look up an its clear now.
Butcher: Great image. Thanks for posting it. I never get tired of looking at M42.
If you are having trouble moving your scope into position, you may want to consider a dolly. Last year I purchased a Wheely Bar from JMI for my rig and have not regretted it one bit. I Move a CGE Pro with an EdgeHD 11" scope and guide scope into position in less than 5 minutes. Previously, I would have to disassemble the scope and mount, carry it piece by piece to my observing point, and set it back up. Usually 20 to 30 minutes. Even better, when the session is over and you want to get to bed, it is only 5 minutes rolling it back in instead of another 20 to 30 disassembling and moving it. There is no more lifting at all.
