Thanks. It started at about 10°, rose to its peak of 12°, then ended up again at 10°.
My next attempt from the same location will be Omega Centauri, which only peaks at 7° on the meridian. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment!

Superb image particularly in view of the maximum altitude.
The Andromeda galaxy has a similar peak altitude from my
location so I understand your limitations. You only have about
3 hours at the top of it's transit arc to collect your data.
