The featured attraction in this image is WR 134 (PNG 073.4+01.5a). WR 134 is a Wolf-Rayet star surrounded by the Circumstellar Material of emission gas called PNG 073.4+01.5a. The These objects are about 6,200 light years distant. PNG 073.4+01.5a is established in the HASH
PN Database as 'circumstellar material' and not a true planetary nebula.
The surrounding full field is pretty interesting. It is at the very southern edge of the Cygnus-X region studied by Dickel, Wendker, and Bieritz called the DWB HII catalog. The DWB catalog has 193 HII objects listed - eight are in the upper portion of this image. Also within this field are LBN 177, 179, 182, 187, and 189; as are LDN 856, 853 (also known as BARN 147). Open star clusters
NGC 6871 and
NGC 6883 are in this field as well as the small true planetary nebula
NGC 6881.
This image is an HOO with
RGB stars composition. The
Ha and OIII stacks were 2x Drizzled;
RGB stacks were a straight 1x integration.
