M13 from the spring

#1

Post by Jockinireland »

So this was one of my first very DSO images from the spring. Not the best AP equipment I know (see below) but its what I have right now and will be for some time.

I've had virtually no decent DSO imaging nights since then but hopefully the winter will change that. So I ust wanted to put it up here fore C&C and advice on how to make the most of the equipment I have.

Hi Don, thats my Blue Fronted Amazon "Kiwi" and she's every bit as smart, inquisitive and cheeky as that picture makes here look. Taken with my Samusung phone and as someone who has gone through Film SLR, point and shoots and now on to DSLR the quality of images out of todays phones just astounds me. In fact I took a moonshot with my phone held to the eyepiece of my 8" LX200 which i'm still trying to better with my EOS 1100D, registax etc etc. (I may post it in lunar just for the fun.
