Hey All,
Here is the West Veil Nebula. I did it on August 25th with my first attempt using the New Altair Triband Filter with
HA, OIII, and H-beta. I used
APP (Astro Pixel Proccesor) to stack, calibrate ect... then I went off to Photoshop and Put the
Ha in the red channel and the OII in the blue and green channel.
APP has an
RGB combination tool, but did not know it to well yet so stuck with this. It was shot with a bit of the moon out. I onoy had a chance to use the Altair Tri-band once so far but it seems great. Also when I was using
APP they have an option to extract
Ha and OIII as single images or it can be extracted as one image. I did not see an option for H-beta or S II extract. So This is in Bi-Color I think
