Short exposure on Orion

#1

Post by jazzin »

Last night while waiting for NGC 2359 to rise high enough for me to start imaging it, I slewed my telescope to the Orion Nebula and took 4 - 5 min subs.
Orion is so bright and colorful it's hard not to mak it look pretty and share it with your friends. Even with just 20 mins of exposure time, the core still was blown out and I couldn't get HDRTransformation to fix it. It's has such a high dynamic range though.
