Hi, so after a few months with the 12 in
RC I switched over to the FSQ106. After spending some time getting to grips with the QHY268 on the
RC it was time to do the same with the TAK. Unfortunately there is some tilt in the optical train somewhere. The stars to the right of the image are round and to the left, pointy. Not sure if I knocked the
OAG or the focuser needs aligning. Anyway, just a short one with 7x 5min in
HA. The new camera gives a wider field of view and I can get all of the Heart in view. I used the same method for the Flats as the
RC and it worked well.
