My Eq6 mount was out of action for a week or two after the replacement motherboard failed after 4 months (Dec motor power supply failing ) and coincided with me using my skywatcher 200pds which I’ve been tweaking , added a steeltack focuser, aperture mask , third Ota ring , PA was fair according to sharpcap and was playing up on the night so gave up and went with it , eventually managed 3.9hrs on m13 didn’t come out too bad , I have some sort of light leak affecting the brightest star which I think I have pinned down to light coming through the baader steeltack focuser where draw tube enters the main body hopefully I have sorted that so next imaging session I will recheck on same target bet stars are looking cleaner noticeable on the bright stars .
