IC443 - Jellyfish 2022 HOO
Last year was my first time looking at this beauty and attempting to image - was an epic fail. Went at it again and had 2 good nights and was able to get 7.5 hours of data ahead of the rising moon. I really wanted to pull out the OIII, but may have over stretched it. Next go may try doing some masking and also try starting my starless workflow earlier in linear land. Like the direction it's headed and love all the tangled filaments in the "Jelly". There's a pulsar tucked in here too as an added bonus.
40 framesHA , 50 frames O3 at 300 sec, 300 gain. Added RGB stars.

Great image Steve.
The filaments look really nice when zoomed in.
I don’t remember if you posted an image of this target last year, but this one is quite beautiful. Nice work!

Very deserving of the APOD . That has to be one of the best captures of the nebula that I've ever seen. And it does appear frequently... A favorite target.
It has true a "depth of field" look to it.
