NGC 2264 remake
This is a revision of a previous post of NGC 2264, the Christmas Tree Cluster/Cone Nebula. I have been experimenting with Affinity Photo and have found it to be full of helpful features including a set of specific macros for AP some of which I used for this image including a star in-paint feature for star reduction and a Ha -Oiii enhancement macro which really helped bring out more nebulosity. This was captured earlier this month over two nites for a total integration of 3.5 hrs. Acquisition details available on Astrobin (jnelson5474). Thanks for looking and as always comments are welcome.

Nice capture. I especially like the color. This rendition seems right for the Cone.

Re: NGC 2264 remake
Thanks Babo…I also thought there was more to see. Always amazes me what additional processing can reveal. Jim
