Hi BIll. This is a fantastic image from you. I love the contrast, nebulosity colors and details, as well as the dark dust lanes. Upon click up magnification I can also see some blue reflection nebulosity outside of the main target. I have downloaded your image and printed it out to hang on the wall here. I'm so used to seeing the Running Man running towards the Orion Nebula--from left to right--that it took be a while to orient my vision and flip it in my imagination a few times till it looked "normal".
Maybe that's why it looks like a new view of the classic. Then again, it just looks so detailed that it's a spectacular image.
