Hi Scott - This image looks rather strange to me It lacks the sharpness and vivid colors your images always have. So many of the stars have halos around them. Is it just my old eyes?

Thanks Steve. Your old eyes are fine maybe mine not so much! I processed this one on and off several times over the last year and this is the best I could come up with. I never cared much for the QHY183, it just seems to be a lot harder to get decent images from it but also the Optolong filters may be suspect. It could also be the way that I am post processing, too much old school CCD in me. Thanks again and clear skies.

To me anyway, this is a tough target. I shot it over a year ago and never got a good process, so I gave up.

I see that you use Noiseware. Never tried it. I recently purchased Topaz Denoise AI and really like it.
