I had a chance to add some more data to my 2019 captures of the Iris. In 2019 using the Stellarvue SVR102T with the ASI294mc I captured 185x3min subs equal to 9hrs 25min. On this October 27 using the Skywatcher 120ED and the QHY268C I managed 80X2min subs equal to 2hrs 40min. Total time on this target was 12hrs 5min. Thanks for looking and C&C always welcomed.

That is superb. great balance of dust and bright reflection. The spikes on the main star really add to it IMHO.

Outrageous dust!!!

Truly a fine image Alex. I remember you telling me how much better a dedicated astro camera (ASI294mc-pro maybe???) worked on this target than a dslr. Well, you have expanded on that even more so!

Hello Alex. A beautiful NGC 7023 (Iris Nebula) image. A nice central star, very vibrant blue reflection nebulosity, and look at all that space dust. :lol: Thanks for sharing this fine capture with us Alex and keep up the excellent work.

This is always a nice gem to capture, Best captured on moonless nights to get the dark nebula around it. You dis a great job on this.
