NGC1333_the Embryo Nebula_LRGB

#1

Post by MariusD69 »

Hello!
NGC1333 is an active region of star formation in the Perseus molecular cloud. What can I say about this target: it's dusty, muddy, dirty. During the capture it seems you have bad gradient or dirty mirrors. It require a lot of exposure time to improve the SNR and to reveal the dark nebula from the dust. Well, I had only 9.5 hours (6.5 hours luminance, 1 hour each RGB channel). I started the capture last month, in the same time with M33, that's why I have this orientation.
Clear skies!

Fantastic image, and I love the charcoal colours of the smokey dust clouds, soft hues of the blues, perfectly round stars and mottle free background. Yep, excellent image! :)

A real beauty Marius. You brought out the dark dusty clouds nicely while not blowing out the nebula. Lovely colors too. Really like this one.
