Helix Nebula_HOO

Post by MariusD69 »

Hello!
A target captured in six nights (it's available only 2-3 hours per night), it's very low in the sky, in an area with LP and fog. So the frame were of mediocre quality and I tried to compensate with of large number of them. Total exposure 16 hours and 10 minutes (127x5' Ha, 67x5' OIII).
Most of the processing was done in PI, but the color combination for this image I did it in PS (the colors were quite different compared to the images made with PixelMath- I made a lot of variations).
Setup: newt SW 150/750; ASI1600MM Pro; Baader 7nm Ha, Astronomik 6nm OIII.
Clear skies!

Really nice Marius!

I would love to try to capture this beautiful target, but is is low and in the trees from my backyard.
