Veil Nebula - HOO Palette

#1

Post by bradleybcraig »

Greetings!

Did this fairly quick capture before approaching clouds and full force of the evil orb. This is an LRGB style narrowband combination with Ha to the Red channel and Oiii to the Blue and Green channels. I planned on getting some R, G and B data as well for the stars but it may have to wait... thanks for looking.

Nice one Brad. For such a bright nebula I always find this one difficult to process. You did a very nice job.

Hello Brad. A superb Veil Nebula image in HOO palette. Very nice color renditions and wispy nebulosity details, especially on the astrobin site. Thanks for sharing this capture with us Brad and congratulations on receiving the TSS APOD Award.
