My old laptop was dying, so, had to purchase a new one and transfer all the files. Then had to install PixInsight,
APT, PHD2, etc. Then had to install all the drivers so that the
AP equipment would work with
ASCOM and
APT. I was a bit worried, but, indoor testing showed that all has been working since my birthday in mid July. However, since that time there has not been a cloudless and fogless night until two nights ago. The fog stayed away long enough to capture 3 hours of images. All of the data was
Ha.
The image below is the result of that imaging.
18 x 600 sec (Total exposure 3 hrs) lights, 30 Dark Flats, 30 flats, 24 x 600 sec Darks
Image capture and control using
APT. Guided with PHD2. All processing in PixInsight.
WO Star 71 telescope, ASI1600MM cooled camera (-15C), 3nm
Ha filter.
Hope to get at least some O3 and possibly some S2 data if skies cooperate.
Thanks for looking.
