nice image! , the highlights are really good and tons of signal, but needs more noise reduction.the background is lifted a bit and is showing the criss cross/checkered noise pattern .other then that it's a really good image, very fine sharp detail on the galaxy even when zoomed in !

First off I want to say thanks for the selection of IOTD and to everyone for the nice comments. Secondly, I have not been around here much, in fact I have not been around anywhere much lately. I am battling some ongoing health issues and due to my treatments, I have good days and bad days, though it seems to be more bad than good. Don't worry it is not the big "C" but my prognosis is good and in a few more months I should be back on the top shelf again. A recent shoulder surgery only complicated my treatments and subsequent healing.

I still manage to get some imaging time in, gotta post some pics here for you guys. I also have a new QHY 183M but it has not seen first light yet due to my health but hoping to get my dual scope rig set up soon.

Thanks again for the IOTD and I got a warm and fuzzy when I logged in today and saw that.
