Finally we have had a spell of clear weather, but coupled with a heat wave though nothing on the scale that you guys are experiencing in Canada and some parts of the USA.
I also managed to get a few nights away at a friend's back garden who lives in Bortle 6 and better horizons than my home Bortle 8. though moving all the kit back and forth in the hot weather was somewhat taxing.
I took this target back in 2019 but always wanted a wider FOV.
Still needs more data as it is very faint, but no idea when i will get another chance.
Ha 23 x 600 (3 hours 50 mins) RGB each filter 8 x 150 binned (1 hour)

Thanks everyone. Yes it isn't done that often, it's a faint little blighter, even after a 10 minute exposure in Ha all you can just about see are the eyebrows of the dragon.
Trouble is I have been imaging for so long I am running out of potential targets and only want to do repeats if I think I can better the previous effort.
That's really nice Carole. Was it very difficult to process?

very nice carole!, still running that ccd strong !
Yup, I shan't be changing to CMOS, too happy with the way everything works, I don't go in for IT complications and from what I hear CMOS is more technical than what i am using. So all the while the CCD cameras keep going I shall continue to use them. N.B. I bought as extra one as a back up.
Hi Carole, very nice image and nice to see you here as well Not a target I'm familiar with, but it's easy to pick out the dragon; very cool!
Hope you get some more time on that (you mentioned something about eyes) and thanks for sharing!
All the best,
Mark

Beautiful framing and nice processing to bring out all the main features of this dim target. Considering your "dark site" was Bortle 6 that's an amazing job. Well done.
