M57 from last night

Hi all I took this image last night of the ring nebula with my Skywatcher 200p and my 183c camera.I took 359 images at 10 seconds each which is about 60 minutes in raw data.I stacked in dss and processed in Adobecs2,affinity.I thought I would share.Thanks for looking.

Hi Graeme I have just started doing my images in raw format as opposed to Tiff files,I just decided to do 50 to 60 minutes to see what results I could achieve and compare with the tiff files.I also found out that my M57 image as a ic296 spiral galaxy.So I have attached the new image with the galaxy.

Hey Andy, congrats on a fine image.
I think what Graeme was asking about was why such short individual subs of only 10 seconds? Are you guiding your rig? If not, maybe 10 seconds is as long as you can go but if you are guiding, try to get your individual sub times up around 60 seconds and that will really bring out more detail like in that faint IC galaxy.

Hi I only did 10 seconds as that's all I could get with the 8inch scope before trailing,I did try guiding once, but kept getting trailing stars in Phd2.I normally use the Skywatcher 80ed which I can get 30 seconds an image.I tend to give up with guiding as I found it frustrating to get to work.I always use 2x2 binning as makes my pixel size 4.8 instead of 2.4 and seems to capture more faint objects.
