Post by bernhardhubl »

Hello group,

Messier 94 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Canes Venatici in a distance of 16 Mio light-years. The galaxy has two ring structures: an inner ring with a diameter of 70 arcseconds and an outer ring with a diameter of 10 arcminutes. The inner ring is a site of strong star formation activity and is sometimes referred to as a starburst ring.
