Hello!
NGC 4559 (also known as Caldwell 36) is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Coma Berenices, located about 29Mly from Earth.
I had a total exposure of four hours. Luminance (Thusday night) 60x120s gain 139; RGB(last night) 20x120s gain 75, each channel. The frames were of mediocre quality (bad seeing and wind). Too bad for last night's clear sky and new Moon.
I'll post only a crop image (it's a small target and there is no other interesting objects in FOV).

Very nice indeed Marius. Lots of detail with various HII regions showing well. Your image also highlights what I noticed visually about four years ago with my 17.5 inch visually. That being the southern half of the galaxy's disk was brighter to the eye because of the concentrations of star forming regions in its arms there.

There most certainly is an object of interest aside from the main show! That being the spiral IC 3592 (sometimes inappropriately listed as NGC 4559A) in the lower left quadrant of your frame. Well done and glad to see some objects a little more off the beaten track.
