M97 Owl Nebula

Wind stopped, clouds disappeared and after one mishap I was able to do some AP work last night.

Here's my attempt at M97.

Telescope: SkyWatcher 254N
Mount: Orion Atlas EQ-g
Guider: ZWO mini guide scope with SSAG
Camera: ZWO ASI533mc pro
Processing: DSS, StarTools, Photoshop

Imaging times:
9 each @ 120 seconds per

Scopes: Explore Scientific ED80CF, Skywatcher 254N, Orion ST80, Orion Atlas EQ-g mount, Orion SSAG guider. Baader MPCC MkIII coma corrector, Vixen 70mm refractor. Lunt LS35THa solar scope. Skywatcher EQ5pro mount. Imagers: ZWO ASI1600 MM Cool, ZWO ASI533mc-Pro, ZWO ASI174mm-C (for use with my Quark chromosphere), ZWO ASI120MC Filters: LRGB, Ha 7nm, O-III 7nm, S-II 7nm Eyepieces: a few, Primary software: Cartes du Ciel, EQMOD, SGP, Nebulosity, Photoshop, StarTools V1.4

very nice image , fine details to . the center star is responsible for the nebula ? thx .

Thats a super image Gordon. Great colour.

I always thought M97 was the owl nebula though. :?

Meade 8" LX200 GPS on wedge (Guided with a cheapo 50mm guidescope and a ZWO ASI 120mm mini)

Camera: ASI2600MC pro. Canon EOS 1100D ( Ha modded), Canon EOS700D astro mod
Secondary mount: Skywatcher StarAdventurer

Vixen 7x42 binocs

I'm going to try a few hours on that and M108 before the moon rises.
