The Jellyfish Nebula shot from the city.

#1

Post by asanmax »

One of my favorite targets.
This one was shot using a 6" RC scope with a 0.67x telecompressor and a Nikon D5300 camera.
Imaged from a Bortle class 8 zone using the L-eNhance filter.

Very nice 👍
It's amazing what can be done from a city.

I used to do visual from an apartment building roof top in NYC, I was able to see a lot.

Hi Asanmax. A fantastic Jellyfish Nebula image with your 6" RC scope and Nikon D5300 camera. The L-eNhance filter really helped bring out the nebulosity color and details in your capture, even with a Bortle 8 sky. Thanks for sharing this enjoyable view with us Asanmax and congratulations on winning the TSS APOD Award today.
