Or
NGC 4565 as I like to say. Imaged again with the
OSC and a one hour naked (no calibration files) exposure. Was not going to do this famous Virgo gal this year since it is so hard to shoe horn into my plate size with the BigDog. Seeing only average and transparency only fair with occasional passing clouds. But, it was three nights in a row, maybe the end since the moon will be encroaching soon.
Meade 16 LX200 at f6.2 with Starizona reducer, Zwo ASI1600MC-cool
OSC 29/2 min subs, tossed one for a PHD2 hiccup. Used separate guide scope, 4 inch
SCT at 1000mm efl, QHY5L-II mono at 5 sec rate, hard to find a bright guide star.
Clear skies, Maybe I'll get 4 in a row!!
