Used a Baader Fringe Killer filter on this.

Only 24 60 seconds lights (thank you strategically placed cloud bank) and 16 stock Darks. ASI533MC, ASIAIR, Starwave 80ed.

Without guiding 60 seconds is about the limit on my AVX, and that’s with a spot on PA. Getting faster at this and Air is a real boon. Now I have my guide scope alignment sorted I hope to repeat tonight with guiding.

Mind you, I would just like the clouds to give me a full hour or so. Processing in DSS, Star Tools 7 & PS 2021.

Excellent Tony and congrats on the APOD. As Jim mentioned the detail is very nice indeed. I see you also captured the mag 14.5 barred spiral IC 4263 to the lower right of M51 near the edge of the frame. While M51 and companion are around 21 MLY distant, IC 4263 is around. 125 MLY from us.
