NGC 4274 - Ring galaxy in Coma Berenices

Hello,

NGC 4274 is a barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Coma Berenices in a distance of 45 million light years. It is characterised by its overlapping outer arms, forming a ring structure with apparent diameter of 3'. Outside this bright ring the fainter parts of NGC 4274 form a further ring, with a diameter of 6'.
