Excellent image Kathy. This is the brightest group within the Hickson Catalog of Compact Galaxies, designated as HCG 44, and is one of my favorite Hicksons. The main three, NGC 3187, 3190 and 3193 constitute Arp 316 in Arp's Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies. I also annotated two much dimmer PGC galaxies which are part of this gravitational group. It is an easy group to locate in the sky given its position almost halfway between Gamma and Zeta Leonis in the lion's head. Glad to see this fine group featured here. Well done.
