M101 - LRGB

Hi, well I added some color and a bunch more Luminance subs. Here is this years attempt at M101. Just over 5 hours total integration time. Stars aren't super round but good enough.
RGB - 20x 180sec each (1 hour each)
Luminance - 26x 300sec (2hours 10 min)
Flats, darks, bias and flat darks all applied. Processed in Pixinsight. Captured using CCDAP and The SkyX Pro

Very nice, Paul. You have gotten well into the faint outer arms with 5+ hours of exposure. Very natural looking processing, too!

Nice image of a target I find really difficult to do well.
Scope: Skywatcher Evostar 80ED (SW 0.85 FR/FF) on a SW NEQ6Pro
Guiding; SW Evoguide 50ED, ASI 120mm mini
Meade 8" LX200 GPS on wedge (Guided with a cheapo 50mm guidescope and a ZWO ASI 120mm mini)
Sharpstar 61EDPH II (with dedicated 0.8 reducer) with wiliam Optics 32mm uniguide
