Post by SPIE7 »

NGC 2264, The Cone and Christmas tree nebulas
taken on 2-25-2021
ZWO 1600mm Pro cooled to -20, Gain 139, Bin 1
Radian Raptor
CEM 40
10 x 300 second Ha
5 x 300 second S2 and O3
Nearly a full moon, but I'm not complaining because we have been cloudy for months.
I try and get out everytime the sky is clear and I also work 2nd shift and get home around 10PM, so my time is limited.

Nice Cone and Christmas Tree SPIE.

On the principle of diminishing returns, do you notice an improvement taking it right down to -20C?

Regards

Graeme

It's got to be done!

I've stuck to -10C to save having to produce more Darks.

But I did get a bit adventurous tonight and pushed my Flats up to 50% ADU!

Regards

Graeme
