Hello!
I photographed this nebula only once, eight years ago with my old DSLR, so I decided to try again with a new camera (ASI1600MM) and NB filters. I started this project last month ( 1st and 2nd January , full Moon), with Ha filter - I gathered 4h30m (54x5m). Then the bad weather prevented me from continuing, till last night, when I (barely) captured some OIII- 2h20m (28x5m). Very, very weak signal on this band. You need to have imagination to see something into the autostretched stack file. I wish I could capture some SII, but I don't know if I'll be so lucky. For me, winter is usually a dead season.
Setup: 80mm TS apo (@ 380mm, with 0.79FR/FF), ASI1600MM Pro, 7nm Baader Ha filter, 6nm OIII Astronomik filter.
The image is HOO combination, with Ha as luminance applied.
Clear skies!
Nicely framed with wonderful depth of detail. Excellent capture!
Jim

Hi Marius. A superb NGC1499 (California Nebula) image here. You did a great job with the red emission nebulosity details, including the fainter regions. Thanks for sharing this with us on here Marius, and congratulations on winning the TSSAPOD Award today.
